Sensing Concern (OPEN to all non-demons) « Thread Started on Jul 6, 2009, 12:02am »
He couldnt find the book that he needed, he could never find the book that he needed. Even though he was the headmaster of the school, it didnt mean that me knew everything that happened within it, especially when it came to his crazy librarian. The reason that Wyatt had taken her on was because she had been an old student at the school, at times even in the same class as him for a year or so, and because she was a brilliant librarian and knew almost everything there was to know about books on magic. But like all people, she had her little eccentricities and had a habit of swapping around the entire book layout of the library on a monthly basis. He understood why. It was to make the students look through new materials, find new stuff that they liked and that held their interest instead of just going straight to the book they needed. But for the teachers it was a real pain. Especially when they needed books on demons. Or any witch did for that matter. He would definitely have to speak to her about this. Maybe just suggest to Kayla that the main books on demons at least have to stay in their place.
Like always, Wyatt was in the middle of doing one of his own little research projects that he constantly had running. Sometimes he felt more like one of the students then a teacher, let alone head of the whole thing. But he liked his little projects, they were his little break from reality, one of the things that he did in his free time. He walked around the library looking for that one book that he wanted. His project at the moment was looking more into the relationship and usage of elements in magic, especially from the elementals perspective and the things that they could achieve with it. The elements in magic had become more and more interesting over the last few months, especially when it came to photokinesis after Amandas little encounter with Ava and hydrokinesis and other strong elements because of his recent interaction with Holy and Hope. He had read lots of books on the elements, and even met a few powerful elementals, but certain things just kept nagging at him. Like how in theory at least aerokinetics could use air and the air pressure to manipulate almost anything if they had the strength to and how other of the minor powers could be used in basically the same way as the major ones.
All around him students were picking out books either for just normal reading or for projects or research. There was a fair number of visitors to the school as well today. It was Sunday so there was very few classes but Wyatt had been meeting with potential new students all morning and/or meeting with others who just wanted to see the school or read up on a book or something. Now, with a pen, paper and time in front of him, he was happy just to do his own thing. That was until he sensed something wrong. Wyatt didnt really focus much on his sensing power, preferring to work on some of the more powerful ones. He knew it was wrong. Leo had lectured him about it enough times. So he didnt know what it was he was sensing. But he knew that it was something that he had to help with. Not even bothering to put the book that he had just picked up down he headed out of the library towards his office. He wasnt even sure at first why he was heading this way, but as he did the sense of something he could help with increased. He really did have for work on his sensing abilities...

THE WORLD'S A ROLLER COASTER AND I AM NOT STRAPPED IN _____________________________________
Finally he was back above ground. His search in the underworld did absolutely no good. Link still hadn't figured out why demons attack had been so frequent lately and to top everything else off, his incinceration power had been a little...off. The last demon he tried to vanquish all he got was a puff of smoke. Thank God for a quick tongue and a fast spell. Something was off and Lincoln just couldn't place his finger on it. Although, he had a rough idea his incineration power was a minor elemental power. He couldn't fully control the element of fire but he was still in the family.
Perhaps something was up with the elements, or perhaps his emotinos based upon his element? Link had been going through a series of mood swings. Every little thing seemed to be setting him off and that just wasn't not how he like to operate or live his life from an emotional standpoint. Link couldn't explain it, so he went to the one place he figured would have some sort of an answer. Magic School.
Further, there was one person he could think who could really help him. Growing up around the Halliwell family, left Link knowing a majority of them; not just the sisters. One in particular had been Wyatt, Lincoln saw the same caring and understanding that he had in himself. Link alway admired Wyatt groing up and ofted tried to emulate him. One of Wyatt's traits that Link really wanted to pick up on and one that he honored was his sense of guidence. Link finally appoarched the Headmaster's office, unaware that he wasn't in it. He was just rying to figure the best way to explain things.
